The rest of us were blood cells being oxygenated as we passed from the heart - to lungs and then back to the heart to be pumped around the body again!

RE - This week we have been considering if life began from God, science or a mixture of both? This unit of work has made us think and consider our own beliefs, we have been discussing lots of questions like: • What is proof? • What is science? • Creation and / or Evolution? • How Did Life Begin? • What does the Creation story in Genesis mean? • God and miracles • The Anthropic Principle • What is Theistic Evolution? Our lessons have been fascinating, listening to everybody's thoughts and views in a trusting and open environment. Below are just some of our class's viewpoints.

Stone age Weapons - how easy would it have been for stone age man to make and use weapons? Today we designed and made axes, for chopping carrots and attacking a threatening piñata! We discovered the importance of choosing the right sticks, rocks and method of attaching the rocks. We discussed how Stone age man would have made string out of nettles and bark. Some of us were successful, and some people would definitely have gone hungry! We discussed the way weapons changed over the course of the 2,500,000 years of the Stone age.

Some of us were successful, and some people would definitely have gone hungry! Today we tried out our cave art skills with charcoal, creating scenes found in caves all around the world. Then we went BIG to decorate our class caves—this was our slightly cheating way of creating hand prints like those found in the caves of both France and Spain. A hand print has been found in Borneo and is estimated to have been drawn nearly 40,0000 years ago!
